3D Models, renders and animation by: https://www.artstation.com/jlruizg3d
On this occasion, my client needed a brand design for a whiskey beverage. Initially we worked with the name Glenwood, but in the end they discarded it and decided to go with Blue/Gold/Black Soldier. Referencing the quality of the whiskey with each of them.
I made the initial concepts based on the folklore of Scotland, as well as the soldiers marching to war to the rhythm of the bagpipes. Finally the client decided to work on the historical warriors, but took a different direction and wanted the brand to be associated with England.
So, I did several concepts based on the British soldier and we finally got to where the client wanted to be. I made different ways to visualize the soldier, and they opted for the 2nd option that you can see in the final design.
After this, I made the labels that would end up being on the whiskey bottles. That's when I contacted my colleague José Luis to make some 3D renders along with some animation so that the client could visualize, in the closest way to reality, their final product.
Both the labels and the 3D models of the bottles are adjusted to the millimeter based on the real bottle that the client was going to use to sell the whiskey.
